Proposal Wind Generator Message No. 50


With this proposal I would like to apply the following initiator-message-form with number 50 to define a multi-language IN-RES process chain together with my students, based on a standard "first contact" procedure. I would like to ask CMRE to insert this into the official application table and mark the number 50 as occupied.

Based on the WMO code forms ( https://library.wmo.int/doc_num.php?explnum_id=4157(external link) )
the response messages of the offshore wind generators are well defined.

Example for a temperature profile plus position and date like

All of them need a more efficient modulation scheme like MFSK. Here I propose
to switch for the IN-RES response message using the modulation defined in Table A. With this approach optional distance measuring, hazard identification AIS- and METOC-broadcasing are possible and helps in case of safety and collision avoidance.
